1. Peas and Bangles Balance Challenge

  • Arrange as many bangles as you can on a plate.
  • Have a bowl of peas ready nearby.

Instructions:

  • Balance the plate on the player’s head and throw the peas inside the bangles one by one.
  • Set a time limit of 30 seconds for each player’s turn.

 How to calculate scores

    • Each pea successfully placed inside a bangle earns 1 point.
    • Peas placed outside the bangles do not count towards the score.
    • At the end of 30 seconds, count the total number of peas inside the bangles for each player.
  • The player with the highest score, who places the maximum peas inside the bangles at the end of the game, is the winner.
  • In case of a tie, the players can have a tiebreaker round or share the victory.

    • Ensure that the plate and bangles are not too heavy and should not be made of glass to prevent injury if they fall.

    • Set a time limit of 30 seconds for each player’s turn.

How to play:

  • The sequence for arranging the bangles on each side of the rolling pin is: red, green, red, green, and so on.
  • Players take turns to arrange as many bangles as they can within the given time limit.
  • The bangles must be placed on both sides of the rolling pin, following the specified sequence..

    • Each correctly arranged pair of bangles (one red and one green) earns 1 point.

  • After the player finishes sorting the bangles, they pick one slip of paper from the bowl without looking.

  • The player’s score is determined by the number of bangles corresponding to the colour written on the slip they picked.

    • Earbuds.

Setting Up:

  • Arrange the bangles in a large circle, ensuring there is enough space between each bangle.
  • Place one coin between each pair of bangles within the circle.
  • Position the bowl in the centre of the circle.

Instructions:

  • Pick up the coins using earbuds and drop them into the bowl without touching any bangle.
  • Set a time limit of either 30 seconds or 1 minute for each player’s turn.
  • Ask to players to move slowly and steadily to avoid touching the bangles while picking up the coins.

How to Play

  •  Players use the earbuds to carefully pick up the coins one by one.
  • They must navigate the earbuds around the bangles without touching them.
  • If a coin touches any bangle while being picked up, both the coin and the bangle are eliminated from the game.
  • After picking up a coin, the player must carefully drop it into the bowl placed in the centre of the circle.
  • Only coins successfully dropped into the bowl count towards the player’s score.

  • Each coin successfully dropped into the bowl earns the player one point.
  • Coins that are dropped outside the bowl or not dropped due to touching a bangle do not count towards the score.
  • At the end of the game, count the total number of coins successfully dropped into the bowl for each player.
