Paan shot is not only a summer drink but also a dessert, digestif, and perfect mouth freshener usually consumed after a heavy meal. This is an all-in-one summer drink recipe that is made with betel leaves,gulkand, milk, and vanilla ice cream.
It is a refreshing, mouth-watering summer beverage with a lot of health benefits. Betel leaves have many medicinal and healing properties, according to Ayurveda. Betel leaves are widely used in the treatment of cough, asthma, and joint pain, and they also help reduce pain and inflammation.
Paan shots are the extended version of paan without the dry ingredients and are prepared like milkshakes or thick shakes. It would be the perfect thirst-quenching drink for a kitty party.
What are paan shots?
Paan shots are refreshing and mouth-wateringly delicious drinks that are loaded with multiple nutrients. It has cooling properties, so it is the perfect drink for a summer kitty party. This scrumptious drink is made with betel leaves, milk, and vanilla ice cream (optional).
It is also gradually replacing the meetha paan because it is easy to prepare in a large amount with simple and basic ingredients.
Ingredients for paan shots:
To make paan shots, you’ll need:
Betel leaves (paan leaves)
Desiccated coconut
Gulkand (sweet preserve of rose petals) or rose jam: You can find this grocery shop or purchase from Amazon now.
Firstly, take three betel leaves and trim the head and tail of the leaves.
Add ¼ cup sugar,gulkand, 3 pods of cardamom, 2 tablespoons of fennel seeds, and 2 tablespoons of coconut powder, and add color (optional).
Grind them all until it becomes smooth by adding 4 tablespoons of water.
Now paan concentrate is ready, and you can store it in your refrigerator for a week.
To prepare paan shots, take a glass of chilled milk in a jar,add paan concentrate and ice cubes to it, and then mix it well until it becomes frothy.
Add vanilla ice cream and garnish with rose syrup.

How to make paan shots with step-by-step photos:
Firstly take 3 betel leaves and trim their head and tail.
2. Take a mixer jar, add betel leaves,2 tbsp gulkand,2 tbsp fennel seeds,3 cardamom pods,2 tbsp desiccated coconut (optional), and 2 drops of green color(optional).
3. Grind all the ingredients until it turns into a smooth paste..
4. Now paan concentrate is ready and you can store it in your refrigerator for a week.
5. To prepare paan shots, take a blender and add 2 tbsp of paan concentrate.
6. add chilled milk to it.
7. Add prepared paan concentrate and a few ice cubes if required.
8. Add vanilla ice cream and blend the mixer well.
9. The Vanilla ice cream will give a frothy texture to the shot.
10. Lastly garnish the paan shot with rose petals,kesar, or pistachio.
Important points:
Always add Gulkand in paan concentrate,it will give a paan flavor.
Secondly by adding a few drops of color it gives a good color but it is completely optional.
Additionally to make paan shots creamy and thick i use vanilla ice cream.
Last but not least the paan shot recipe tastes great when it is served chilled.
